For this new release, we are really happy and proud to present our Romanian friend, Mihai Popoviciu. This producer, who is for us one of the most talented from the new house generation, gives us 3 bomb tracks.

"Hango N" sounds like a summer hit, a disco-loopy track, funky and happy. We have been testing it in the clubs for months, and it always puts the dancefloors on fire.

"Solo Man" goes into a trippy deep journey, with an old school touch in his chords. This track has a dreamy and groovy feeling, which touches directly the heart.

"Good Afternoon", composed with Alex Moddoi, follows the same deep and dancefloor direction: a catchy track, served by a smart and elegant production.

The last track of this EP is a remix of "Hango N" by Daniel Sanchez. The Dutch boss of Bla Bla puts this track into a more melodic way, with a lot of sensitivity. He calls it "7 minutes of love remix", and he's right: this one could be a perfect Summer of Love's hit. And to give him an answer about what he says at the end of the remix : "That was also a pleasure to meet you. We love you too, Daniel".

These Italians, extremely talented, deliver us four smart and efficient tracks.

"Mr Deep", as its name suggests, is a marvel of deep house. Heavy bass, some subtle vocals, deep chords. All the ingredients of a classic genre. "My Ladies" sounds like a crazy house anthem, full of sexy vocals and percussive groove. "Coming Back" invites you to a smart journey into a deep and jazzy house; and "Be My Star" is a cool disco-house tool which will easilly catch the dancefloor.

We are really happy and proud to have these two friendly producers on our label. We're sure they'll have a brillant musical future.

After the huge success of the “Chicago Story EP” composed with his partner in crime Acumen, Timid Boy is back again on Time Has Changed (the label he runs with Acumen) with "On A Cloud With Richard EP”.
Timid Boy aka Damien Almira knows the dancefloor well. He has studied this subject with a meticulous care for almost 10 years.
As a DJ, he quickly established himself as a great value of the Parisian scene starting in 2003 a DJ residency at the Rex Club for the BPitch Control parties.
As a journalist, he worked for famous magazines such as Rock&Folk, Technikart or Trax during several years.
And as a dancer: if you just see him moving his body like a freaky chicken on the dancefloor, you will understand!
“On A Cloud With Richard EP” uses fully his dance music experience.
Composed in memory of the marvelous Afro-American humorist Richard Pryor, the track “On A Cloud With Richard” reveals a catchy and strong tech-house approach. You will recognize immediately a massive dancefloor tune.
On the same side follows “Il Compleanno Di Gaia”. Timid Boy provides a 100% party music track, which explores a percussive and sexy Italian groove with a funny vocals game.

B side “Ha Ha Ha” invites us to a deep spoken word journey with a subtle touch, and a swinging way. Straight after the success of his fantastic “Bring Back The Cows” on Quartz, our friend Okain gives a brilliant remix in a smart, hypnotic and vicious style. That’s why we love this young Parisian guy so much.

producers, but more importantly together as Kruse & Nϋrnberg they have climbed closer to the treetop
with their unique brand of mouth-watering underground deep house infused with the sharp techhouseelements.
As a first sign of bigger things to come, Nick Warren included their massive ‘An Why E’ on his
“Global Underground- Lima”, which somewhat kick-started the K&N machine, and the duo has
since then grabbed the attention of some of todays most important underground labels; NRK, Noir
Music, Kolour, Je T'aime, Mood Music, Slip’N’Slide as well as Mazi’s Fresh Meat Records and
Milton Jackson & Shur-I-Kan’s Dark Energy label, who have all invested in K&N with enough
remixes and original productions to let them ride out 2009 in grand style.
With a brand new studio in Hamburg, a long waiting list for tracks and remixes and with recent
brilliant DJ-Sets, these guys have absolutely no reason to slow down, and more tracks and remixes
are of course forthcoming.

Les temps changent... ou pas. Le label français Time Has Changed continue dans sa route vers la qualité sans le moindre petit écart ou entorse à leur ligne de conduite. Ainsi Acumen, fondateur du label, et Timid Boy nous proposent le nouvel EP du label, Chicago Story, incluant entre autre un remix d'un DJ devenu un peu trop rare de nos jours, Oxia. Les deux membres du duo ont une activité plus que chargée en ce début d'année 2010 avec des sorties sur Mobilee, Diynamic Music et Remote Area pour Acumen, et des productions sur Bitten, Time Is Now et Darkroom Dubs pour Timid Bou, sans oublier leurs différents projets ensemble ou en solo ainsi que les très nombreux bookings qui remplissent régulièrement les pages de leurs agendas.

Avec cette EP, ils nous proposent une petite bouffée d'air frais, ce qui est plutôt de saison, avec trois titres rafraichissants et chaleureux à la ligne de basse bien grasse, quelques vocaux, un rythme fort et une efficacité redoutable sur un dancefloor. Une house minimaliste de la nouvelle génération, fraîche, sensuelle et chaleureuse aux influences berlinoises assumées. Etant tous les trois dans la même veine, ils ont une approche commune mais se différencient aussi (et heureusement) entre eux. Chicago Story laisse ainsi plus de places au vocal, avec des plages parlées sur fond de vocal samplé et bouclé. A Fiasco met le vocal plus en arrière plan mais intensifie le rythme avec une présence instrumentale plus forte et plus puissante. Toujours crescendo, Uno Momento alourdit encore un tout petit peu la basse et le côté Deep du morceau et se réappropriant un nouvel espace vocale. Cette sortie s'accompagne d'un remix d'un artiste qui s'est fait quelque peu trop discret ces derniers temps, Oxia. Avec sa "réinterprétation" de Chicago Story, il nous signe un track redoutablement efficace qui risque de faire des dégâts sur les dancefloors. Ce remix se trouve d'ailleurs déjà massivement soutenu par des DJ tels que Mihalis Safras, Milton Jackson, Samuel L Session et 2000 And One pour ne citer qu'eux. L'EP se termine par la présence d'un remix de V.Sexion du titre Uno Momento. Un remix dans la veine de l'original mais en version déstructurée et hachée offrant ainsi une nouvelle version et approche de ce petit moment musical.

Acumen and Timid boy are back on Time has changed. with a release that will surely delight house and tech house music lovers. The two partners will have a big actuality in 2010 with releases on Mobilee , Diynamic or remote area for Acumen. Bitten, Time is now, Darkroom Dubs for timid boy. And many projects together or solo.
We present you their common project. Three house tracks, super fresh. Fat basslines, vocals, strong rythmic. Always oriented towards the dancefloor. We call it modern house: happy and warm.

To remix the song "Chicago Story", we have used one of the most exciting producers of the moment: Oxia. After his huge success on 8bit, which remained the weeks No. 1 beatport. We are pleased to invite him on time has changed. Oxia was the spearhead of a powerful techno in the 90'. And he's finally now a super tech hosue producer. His productions are rare but always beautiful. This piece is no exception to the rule. A big tech house hit , which I'm sure, delighted all dancefloors worldwide.

Last remix but not least, by the breakthrough producer ever seen on 8bit: v.sexion. This young greak producer is undoubtedly one of the producers to follow for this new year. And it made us a very successful reinterpretation of "uno momento"
